Refund & Cancellation Policy

Cancellations
You may cancel your order within 24 hours of placement for a full refund. After 24 hours, cancellations on custom or baked-to-order items may not be possible as production will have begun.
Perishable Items (Treats & Baked Goods)
Due to the perishable nature of our baked goods, we do not accept returns on delivered food items. If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with a photograph, and we will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you.
Handcrafted Crochet & Macramé Items
Because each crochet and macramé item is made by hand, minor variations in colour, size, and texture are natural and are not defects. We accept returns on craft items within 7 days of delivery if the item is unused and in original condition. Custom orders are non-refundable once production has begun.
How to Request a Refund
- Email us at hello@inshamakes.ca with your order number and the reason for your request.
- Attach photos if the item arrived damaged or incorrect.
- We will respond within 2 business days.
- Approved refunds are processed via your original payment method within 3–5 business days.
Non-Refundable Items
- Custom-designed cakes and bespoke baked goods once production has started
- Custom crochet orders once yarn has been cut and work has begun
- Delivered food items (unless damaged or incorrect — see above)
Delivery Issues
If your delivery is significantly delayed due to an error on our part, please contact us and we will do our best to resolve the situation, including a full or partial refund where appropriate. We are not responsible for delays caused by weather, road closures, or other events outside our control.
